Friday flying

It was nice to get up into clear skies this morning, and to be able to see the roads! Although, they were fairly empty – aside from a little traffic on Woodstock Road, past the Jack FM HQ and St Edwards school!

In the meantime, I thought I would treat you to a nice piccie of Didcot Power Station “at full steam!”

We were also quite pleased to see the 8:15 am Oxford to London Paddington service leaving on time!

Testing 1 2 3

Well, what a lovely part of the world this is.

Anthony and I did some testing of the airlink kit (the technical gubbins that allows us to get audio up to and down from the plane). Part of the test is to do a test flight to see how far we can reach before the flying eye reporter can't hear the ground any more, or vice versa. Ant got all the way to Land's End and the signal was still perfect - just like the view!

The view from the ground was rather more prosaic.
